From the 2nd to the 17th of September, forty-three (43) riders and walkers raised over $7,000 and covered nearly 5,000 kms in a Big Ride for Palestine which is an initiative supported by the Union Aid Abroad and supported by trade unions and NGOs such as the MUA, the CFMEU, Palestine fair trade Australia, the electrical trade union, the plumbers union, and APAN. These funds will provide much needed support for projects in Palestine and in the refugee camps in Lebanon.
I don’t know about the other riders but I’m going to ride on till the finale on 1 October!
