We went to the Treasurer’s office in Logan City to present a letter calling for a ceasefire, an end to the occupation, and sanctions against Israel. Dr Chalmers office manager, Brenton, when introduced to our representative Muhjid who is Palestinian said: ‘That is what he claims (to be)’.
Similar approaches have been made to the offices of Anthony Albanese and Penny Wong.
After a number of years of making approaches to parliamentary leaders, with a few notable exceptions, we have been rebuffed or not even replied to. People in the Labor Party employ are not true believers. These party hacks are climbing up the party ladder, they are almost a cult. They are very, very hard, nay impossible, to deal with.
