Jews and Palestinians unite against Israeli genocide

Some months ago, I was volunteering on a stall for Palestine Fair Trade Australia at the West End markets in Brisbane. I was approached by two jewish people from Montreal, and we had a conversation about what was happening in Canada. They told me that they, with some palestinian friends, had started up a united jewish and palestinian group called PAJU.

I asked them if they supported Boycott Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel. They said: ‘Of course’ and bought some PFTA products and a couple of Big Ride for Palestine jerseys. I gave them my email address, and they have sat in a cinema that banned a Palestinian film called ‘From the River to the Sea…’

After 7 October our PFTA stall was likewise banned by the WE markets leaseholder, Mark Power. So we set In the park next door to the markets on the corner of Jane and Montenegro roads on the last Saturday of each month. Come and join us.
