Israel made a mistake when they executed the paramedics.
Then they made a mistake burying the aid workers so they couldn’t be found.
Then they made a mistake burying their ambulances so they couldn’t be found.
Then they made a mistake telling the world the Red Crescent ambulance travelled suspiciously with their lights off. Why would they.
Until the mobile phone footage was found on a medic whose last words were: “Please forgive me, Mum, forgive me, all i wanted was to help save people” …
There were no mistakes.
This is a war crime, along with all the others.
That is the definition of genocide.
How do you survive genocide?
@middleeasteye Soumaya Ghannoushi, a writer and expert on Middle East politics, examines the tragic death of Palestinian medic Rifaat Radwan, whose final moments were captured on video, challenging the Israeli military’s account of events. Ghannoushi says that Radwan’s voice shattered the Israeli military’s claims that it does not intentionally target civilians or aid workers. Instead, the video adds to a growing body of evidence that Israel is deliberately striking emergency responders and medical teams in Gaza. Rather than offering vague calls for accountability, Ghannoushi insists that such evidence must be taken seriously by international legal bodies and human rights institutions. Ignoring them, she adds, only deepens the culture of impunity surrounding Israel’s actions in Gaza.

As an advocate for Palestine, we wanted to write to you today with an important update.
Today, fresh evidence of Australian weapons being exported to Israel has been made public, showing an Australian-made ‘lethal’ remote weapons system being used in Israel, earlier this year.
The State-owned Israeli Aerospace Industry (IAI) recently posted a photograph of the Israeli Defence Minister, Israel Katz, standing in front of a cannon at a weapon testing site in southern Israel. This photo also appeared in the Israeli Government’s official press release.
