A Short History of the Australian Indigenous Resistance 1950 – 1990 by Garey Foley

Workers BushTelegraph is primarily for letters, original articles, original news, stories you can’t read elsewhere, original verse, original pictures, videos and music.

We will not publish racist or anti-worker sentiments.

We do not seek ‘balance’ in reporting when it favours the wealthy and powerful, the bigoted or the sectarian — readers will have to go to the mass media for that.

The opinions of contributors are their own and not necessarily those of the editor or that of WBT.

Series on the Energy Crisis

Energy – a conversation about the social democratic response to neo-liberalism
Electricity – from a quiet revolution to the edge of darkness
The Trundle Electric Light Company
The 2022 Energy Crisis & Market Failure

WBT addresses the following questions:
1. Industrial question: The Master/servant relationship. The struggle for Worker Control.
2. Ownership question: Who owns the land or does the land own us? Rights to the city, right to country. The struggle of indigenous people for land rights and social justice in Australia.
3. Political question: This is the class struggle. Who owns the means of production? Who governs? How are democratic rights won and shared.

Gary Foley

Support the Paradigm Shift (4ZZZ - Fridays @ Noon) which, since 2011, has produced radical current affairs and analysis. More independent than the ABC because it does not use 'balanced 'reporting to support Israel. An archive of the back shows is at
